Hafa Adai! (It means hello. It’s pronounced like half a day, but pretty quickly, so it almost sounds like one word.) I love that phrase. Mostly because I thought it was awesome before I got here, but almost everyone on island actually uses it! Seriously, it’s a great phrase! As most of you know, I just moved to Guam for my first official big-girl job right out of college. It’s a huge move! But, I couldn’t be more excited. Guam is a beautiful island with so much to offer! Though it’s far away from family and I knew absolutely no one before making this move, I think I’m going to enjoy the island life.
I started this because before I left US Mainland, a lot of people expressed interest in being able to keep up with what I’m doing over here. I took a job as a reporter at Pacific Daily News. I’m excited to learn and experience all that I can!
